Last week the oil level was yellow after turning it off. Checked it to be about 1qt low. Inspected and found the oil filter housing to be leaking pretty heavily. [emoji35] Luckily it's a 4.00 gasket, 35min. And a can of degreaser, all is well now.
Decided I need motor and trans mounts.
35min? Damn that's fast!

Got ballsy and ordered a set of ebay headers. 100' of exhaust wrap and a bunch of metal ties. Like a lot of people they arrived with fitment for a 328. The quality was lacking like you wouldn't believe. tubes over sized and off center from the head flange. welds not completed.
within a half hour of the ebay headers arriving I ordered a set of BimmerBrakes Gen3 headers!!!

Headers and intake should be here this afternoon. Got on Craigslist last night and found a set of NIB E90 racks. Picked them up for 65.00 and modified the feet covers to fit. Installed the injen intake, I would say it is a nice cheap alternative to the AFE box.
The filter itself is not the one shown in the stock photos I posted earlier it has no center media just the outer.

The intake boot had to be slackened and repositioned to mate up. Not a big deal at all.
The tab had to be removed from the coolant reservoir for the lid to fit on. I've replaced more expansion tanks than I can count and have never noticed those tabs just slide off.

The sound is there it has a lid and it fit without issue so I'd say it's [emoji106]
