Are you a member of the BMW CCA (Car Club of America)? They have many fun events, this Sunday is an AutoX at QualCom stadium (or did it already change its name ??). See ya around!

I have to sell mine :(... i hope you get to keep yours!
I'm in the OC, not San Diego [tho thats where i bought the car].
Maybe next time?
Will hopefully join BMWCCA this year [was a member back in the day]

Welcome to the fest!
I'm a former Z-car man myself. Bought my boss's 4 yr old '73 240Z back in the day, then later a '78 280Z, then a '93 300ZX. Sadly, I have ZERO enthusiasm for the 350/370Z generation. Lousy driving dynamics, super-cheap interior (at least back when I test drove one in '04, I know the 370's have improved), and just no real appeal for me.
Thankfully, I have the proper modern equivalent in the garage alongside my ZHP. I guess I never really lost my love for the original.

Thanx Kevin. Quite the z collection.
I absolutely agree about the current Z field.
Nothing like the classics. At all.
Good to know you are a multi-level brother

And now my Z is officially for sale :(

Got to jump in on the Z talk.
Had '73 240Z - would still have it if it didn't get totaled on the freeway. PERFECT condition, recaro seats.
'78 (or was that '80?) 280Z - sold, started rusting
wife had 84/85ish 300ZX - sold, needed more doors/seats

love the Z heritage conversation.
Only other car i have driven that equals pure thrill like my BMW.
And, like the ZHP/E46, CLASSIC design lines ... pure seduction of form
