Do the full SS Line
I called UUC to get the order canceled so I can order it.
Smart move.
Pulled off the driver side a pillar because the cloth was starting to get really bad. Found this little surprise hiding behind it. I need to trace it back to the source somewhere underneath the dash.
Attachment 20034
Wonder what it is for. BTW post a pic of your pillars
This morning I dealt with the stray wire. The wire on the other end was split and spliced into the red connectors. I removed/cut that connection and put electrical tape over it. I may deal with it at some point in the future. I need to figure out what the P.O. did. There is also a fuse wired which I thought was weird.

After that I pulled the seat and replaced the memory module.

A quick drive shows better voltage but I need to watch it more to be sure.
And now I am working on the A/B/C pillars.

I will say the material is slightly darker than the headliner.
Do the airbag covers fit into the pillars ? They look good though
Hmm, my bed is the stray wire was a power source for a gauge, navigation unit, or maybe a radar detector. Just wanted it down on the left rather than the middle of the windshield.
Otherwise, good work!
Threw some BG 44K in to the old girl. Interested to see what happens fuel-wise (163k on the clock).

Also getting the SS clutch line installed tomorrow as well as the A/C leak addressed. Can't wait for no more CDV.

Awesome.
Had a little impromptu unplanned maintenance today. Word to all: Avoid Wahler thermostats at all costs.

My weekend update involved a bunch of work:
- Oil Change
- Cleaned thermostat mating area / Re-sealed the thermostat
- Replaced the expansion tank
- Replaced battery under warranty; no more voltage issues!!
Thumbs up
A little OT but my XJ restoration project got completed recently. Complete overhaul of the suspension with a lift and bigger tires.

What adhesive did you use on your A/B/C pillars? I am getting ready to repair my B and C pillars. Thanks, car looks good.
ZHP is detailed.

Still need to clean a few things the detailer missed. Also found out I have hail damage. :/ At some point that will be addressed as well. Just filed the claim today with the insurance.
Impressed?
Discovered I have hail damage on the hood, roof and maybe a few other places. Adjuster came out and estimated about $2,500 worth of repair work.
Guess it is time to find a body shop to perform the repair.
As much as it sucks, at least you will have new paint.
what Dane said.....

For reference with PSS9s (on my old 325i), there is no gap (granted I didn't want to run it that low....)
