I have to admit, I never thought about this until I looked at everything up in the air. I am so used to laying on the floor. I ordered this $26 pneumatic rolling seat for working on the cars while up with the QuickJack. This is going to be so much easier on an old guy. :thumbup

here's my ride. You can see mine is the double DIN version :)
I like your adjustable seat height though
I ended up temporarily standing the ramps up against the wall. I have our first LMP3 race coming up starting December 31 in Daytona so with only 2 weeks left, I had to take a shortcut mounting them. Headed out in the morning for a complete data and video install on a new 2020 LMP3.
In the event they wanted to escape from their mounts, the press should stop them before taking out my cars.
Damn, the 7000EXT ramps are heavy, 101 lbs each.

too funny, I did the same thing. With all the shelving in my garage, hard to find the wall space anyway. I stacked them both in one slot though instead of side by side (by necessity) and hung the handles in the slot where the wall bracket would normally go
I ordered the 38mm jack pads for my BL7000 EXT. Since the 7000 has a 1/2" taller frame, the front just rubbed the jack pad and needed a little lift getting the frame slid under my dropped E46. Problem solved. :thumbsup
The pads on the right come with the kits and the 38mm on the left is exactly what I needed.

With both my ZHP and the E92 in storage, I've only been able to use my BL-5000SX on my 2 SUV's, and I've done the brakes on both. Although I managed to get them both lifted, I found the 60" max lift point spread to be a little short of the jacking points. I improvised, but I've also ordered the BL-5000SLX/7000SLX EXTENSION KIT, which should get me to 66" which is just what it needs. Scheduled to arrive today!
But to your point about the thinner blocks, if you ever decide to get the extention kit, be aware that it increases the Jack height by 1.5" and would need to be a consideration if used on lower long wheelbase cars/trucks
Mine is the BL7000 EXT (extended already) Needed that length along with the 7000 lb capacity for my X5. I can't begin to tell you how much I have used the QJ. Every weekend I am home, the cars are up getting the needed servicing I ignored for years.
On a side note, somehow BendPak screwed up and along with my small box of pads, there were also 2 brand new BL5000 SLX ramps next to it. :confused Being a man of character, I rang them and let them know that mistake of about $1K in my favor had occurred. Waiting to hear back from them.
interesting note about them messing up the shipping, I'm dealing with that right now. I ordered the extention kit on 2/6 and got a notice that it was delivered on 2/13..... Well not to my house! I have a video doorbell and NO DELIVERIES
So I had to call them too, and found out they had fat fingered my address in the shipment. No problem... They've shipped another one to me on 2/18. But when I got the new shipping notification, I saw they had a different wrong address! So I called again, and they say they have it corrected.
So ETA is today..... we'll see
Great product, and must say the customer service followup has been great on the issues. But shipping has me less than confident. I know they'll make it right either way so not concerned other than the delay
Still no call back from BendPak. I wonder what the shipping costs to send back 150-200 lbs. They may just wash it as it may be as much as they have in it. Fingers crossed I have another QuickJack just for the E46.
well, glad to hear that. And since I haven't been able to lift the ZHP yet, thanks for the tip on pad placement.
I've used the truck extenders on my SUV's and they work great and give good extra lift. You can see them in this picture. And now with the extensions, I'll get another 1.5" !!
I need to get those. I Love the lift though.

Upper 40's here in the Northeast today and Spring fever is setting in! Beautiful day.... Throw open the garage doors and clean up. And 60's tomorrow, but still too soon to get the vert out of storage. April.. I can make it :(
So while waiting for that kind of weather, I thought I'd try out the frame extension kit, so here it is lifting my Edge to check the rear brakes. Frame extender drops right into the slots of the Quickjack BL-5000SLX/7000SLX with longer slots to move the pads around. Worked well. Didn't get to gain the extra 1.5" lift that it provides because I had to shorten the Truck Adapter by that much to slide it under the jack points. Oh well
And I still put 4 jackstands just outside the ends of the Quickjack, just because.....
FYI - the current Costco magazine today shows the Quickjack BL7000-SLX is on sale for $1,249 delivered ($150 off)
Heads Up: When lowering the QJ into the locking position make sure to release all of the pressure before disconnecting the hoses. This is the first time I've encountered this problem. After doing some brake work I went to lower my M3 and could not get the hoses to reconnect. I called QJ and was told to hold the "down" button while reconnecting the hoses. This worked on one side but not the other so I had to slightly raise the lift with a bottle jack to relieve some of the pressure on the system to get the hose connected. I do believe it was my error and not the QJ malfunctioning. Very stressful situation.
Interesting, thanks for that. Good to know. Turns out none of my projects have been more than a day, so I haven't ever disconnected the hydraulic hoses once raised. But I always lower the jack down to the stops to take the pressure off the hydraulics
