Congrats on the wheels Tony! :thumbsup
I do like those. What rubber goes with?
Thumbs, iPhone, Tapatalk.
Indeed, more Style 68s, I can't get enough of those friggin wheels.
Good stuff Tony.
So after much thinking I have a good size bucket list of things I would like to do to the ZHP.
BC Coilovers
BMW Performance Strut Bar
SSK not sure what kind or just fix the oem one
Pulleys
Corsa TSE3 exhaust
Shark Injectors
Sprint booster with mod
Complete audio system overhaul
Cobywheel Rewrap
Refinish rims (135s, Beyern Mesh, 68s)
Carbon fiber emblems
New front bumper and splitters + complete paint job
Hidden V1 in mirror plus update the V1
Fix driver side bolster and install side bolsters
M3 brake kit upgrade
Umnitza halo kit
LSD 3.46/3.37 ratio
Supercharger (not in the near future)
Armrest delete center console and euro tray
One side cup holder driver side
That is one hefty bucketlist! Very nice list!
SSK ->> Have you looked into the Z3M shifter? I love mine.
Hidden V1 is sick! I've always wanted to do this with my V1.
What is M3 brake kit? Front M3 brakes require the M3 spindles.. and the rear requires the M3 trailing arms.
One cup holder driver side? que?
wheels look nice
Ultimate cupholder, Derek.
Nice list Tony. Hopefully your employer can help with the labor costs ;)

So last night I park my car on 1st ave knowing that there was a marathon going on. Of course in NYC the traffic police are up and moving early in the mornings. I parked there at 8pm and thought I would be good till about 10am. So by the time I went out at 8:30am it was already gone. Throughout the day I went and took the train around to meet up with a friend. Assuming that my car was impounded and I called the usual impound department. No luck in the morning. No one picked up. In the evening on my way back I called 911. They told me to call 311. Talked to that operator. They transferred me to the local precinct. From there they told me they moved my car two blocks over. I was happy and went searching for it. So about 24 hours later I had my car and no ticket! Of course I could have found it earlier but I didn't think that I would've got it out till tomorrow morning when the impound was open. So for future reference to anyone going into NYC; dial 311 for any parking information.

Damn Tony. I would have been freaking out!

Holy crap that's scary! Kind of weird they can just up and move people's cars so willy nilly...
Bro, you dodged a bullet. I've had to deal with those impound animals a few times. Not pleasant. Every time my car got towed, for nonsense reasons, the tow company opened my friggin car. I had some heated discussions.
Wow. I think I would have freaked too. So they can just move your car?? That's NYC crazy.
Thumbs, iPhone, Tapatalk.
Im surprised they moved your car and just left it there instead of impounding! You got lucky though!
One of many reasons why I never park my car in large cities like NYC, Boston, Chicago, or LA...... glad to hear you got your ZHP back Tony....
Towed at 06:41... They sure started early!
iP4S + TT2
Yes I plan to be the only one in the car most of the time anyways. The ultimate cup holder would work. I still have to do a lot of research in what I plan on changing for those mods. Also thanks for the heads up on the m3 brake kit. I'll note that down as well!
They are pretty nice for a whole set of 5. :) the paint is flaking here and there so I would need to refinish them sometime.
Yeah it sure helps to have a lift as well.
Yeah it was a pretty big bullet. Still a lesson to anyone parking in NYC.
Yeah I had to talk to them twice to figure out where the car was.
I was freaking out as well since I got new rims in the car.
Yeah I was debating on moving it at 2am when I woke up from a nap. Can't believe that they towed it so early...
The lesson here is to not park in NYC. If you don't want to take public transportation, don't go to NYC, that simple! I made that mistake a few times, ending up with bent rims.
NYC is the armpit of all places with roads that they call paved. I feel everyone should sue the crap out of the city for suspension damage caused by their simple inability to fix the roads they charge us exorbitant amounts of money to cross.
This past weekend was a lot of maintenance done. Tierods on Saturday. BMW Performance Short Shifter, transmission & differential fluids changed. Getting ready for winter soon and the style 68's going on once I find one more 7" rim.
What do you guys think about mudflaps? I'm considering putting them on due to the dirt and everything I drive through all the time out in these neck of the woods.
Also I have planned to finish out a few more retrofits :)
Not a fan of the mudflaps, but they are functional..
Not a fan of flaps either though they can be functional. How do you like the SSK?
Tapatalk on iPad
I don't think they look so bad! Much better on sedans than coupes, with the black rather than the color-matching trim.
I have yet to spot you around town but I keep an eye out!
Since you asked, I personally don't like they way they look on an E46. But if you need the functionality for your sitch, I say go for it.

I love mud flaps. I'd like to get some for my car at some point.

I approve as well, even for just the winter months and then back off in the spring.

Thanks all.
Planning on doing it soon.
As for being around I don't really go into Amherst much anymore. Feel free to text me or something if you want to get together.
Just also purchased a euro lcm :)
I'll be curious to see how mud flaps on an e46 turn out, a quick google search didn't really show much.
Now if you had this I'm sure there would be less debate about mud flaps... They are almost a necessity on a subie :)

Here are some examples. I don't think it looks that bad at all actually. At least on sedans they seem to go pretty well overall.

nice, not bad at all. very understated actually. i think the casual observer wouldn't even notice they are there.
I think they would look better if they were color-matched to the car.
New oem battery 12/12/13 125790 miles. No more dead battery after siting for 6 hours. :)
The cold weather is killer to batteries it seems. Too bad my last battery was gone in the accident.
My ZHP has been parked so ce the 26th. It is completely entombed in ice/snow. First startup (whenever that is.... Maybe Spring thaw) is going to be interesting.

My battery died after a week and a half sitting in the garage.. :me shrug
Glad you got a brand new one to deal with. :)
I removed as much of the snow yesterday that I could. Cleared the windows. Hood and roof have a foot of snow-ice-snow on them. Drivers side door handle thawed (facing sun). Started it up. First crank. Moved it so the other side was facing sun... Lol. Super happy though.

So recently I just put a new license plate bracket on my car since my company's car wash kept on bending the crap out of my license plate. Now I'm running the US Mill Works bracket. Great quality and great product overall.

Also today I just updated the speedo and temperature gauge with PA Soft.
Followed this guide for speedo fix and temperature gauge fix. Thanks to Botond for the adjustments.
