My parents took a drive out to the barn where my car is being stored this past weekend. They put on an old car cover they found in the basement and a visqueen tarp over it to prevent any further bird poop from possibly getting through (the car just had a sheet on top of it before).
They also laid down some more moth balls and dryer sheets to keep the mice at bay. They opened up the engine bay and honked the horn to see if any mice were in there. Nothing moved so it seems it's okay for now. Put the key in the ignition and the car came on easily, so the trickle charger's working just fine.
Can't wait to be home in a few months to drive it again.
I know I get pretty excited to take my car out after winter storage... at least I could look at my car in the garage and do stuff to it. It must be much harder for you...
Purchased a used GruppeM intake from a member here. I'll use the K&N restore kit (using the attached directions) and install it when I'm back home in December.
I'll then have to decide if I want to keep it or the currently installed BMW Performance intake.
Awesome!! From what I have seen here and Youtube videos, I am sure you will prefer the GruppeM over the BMW performance intake.
YES!!! :biggrin
Next stop: UUC Corsa TSE3

Hopefully! I'm looking forward to spending some good seat time with it when I get home.
Yup, thought I'd join the club. Not as sure about the TSE3, it might be too much. It does sound delicious (have you posted a video of how it sounds on your car yet?)
