OMG Stuart, that is going to be awesome!
Is it going to end up being stepped like the picture shows, or will it be smoothened out?
It is kind of a smoothed hybrid of e46 and e90 in shape and height
the top pic is today in final primer - after three primer/blocking sessions when I had time (not sure if I mentioned it here - but my daughter had ankle reconstruction surgery last Friday and my time has been consumed with taking care of her...kind of preparation for baby Alex)
They dont make a drool smiley that drools enough for that mod stu.
Yeah... they're nothing special, but still way better than the stock 320i seats.
I actually got a pair of manual seats from an '02-'03 WRX, but there will require much welding to make them work. Either way, they cost me $32 for the pair and are way more comfortable (plus being many hundreds of dollars cheaper) than the real E21 Recaro's. Reupholstery will come eventually with E24 rear bucket mod done in the same style...
but a 6cyl swap should be main priority ;)
EDIT: aforementioned WRX seats
