That is too bad. Congrats on the sale though.
I have officially decided that it is time to get my OEM M135's refinished and new tires put on and time to get rid of the 19's. I LOVE the way they look, but Memphis roads are just too rough. My better half refuses to ride in my car now, this recent news was the last straw.

I finally bought a cheap license plate cover for the rear. Really wanted CF but the black metal looks nice too. I think it completes the look nicely. However I think black screws are needed now.

Hah, I love the license plate. That's great.
I'm so glad to finally have smooth braking back. I did it proper this time, new Textar pads and Zimmermann Coat Z rotor with BMW brake grease on the ears of the pads/sliding locations, but not the guide pins. Totally clean and dry.
Completely even, smooth braking on all four corners, no missing spots on the brake rotor - which is what I saw last time with my old rotors. I've got a feeling the biggest culprit to my problems were the old brake pads. I don't know who they're made by, and I can't find any markings on them.
One thing I wish they told me about the rotors is that they make a rough noise for the first 10-20 miles of braking due to the coating slowly rubbing off. I thought I had done something wrong at first. After a little bit of city driving it came right off.
The rotors really do look good with the anti-rust coating.
Have you bedded the rotors?
You need to find some highway and brake from 60 to 10 a few times in succession. Then you will truly have some stopping power.
