:shift You better grab them before I do
Just kidding. Looks like a very nice set up. Not a $3500 one, but for $490, I'd jump on it

Shredded one of the old rear tires. NOt sure how--it shredded on the inner sidewall and started making funny noises on the freeway. Didn't feel like a blown tire but I pulled off and found tire was shredded and rubbing inner fender and rear shock. Put on donut spare, which looked silly and drove 50mph on freeway, pissing off other drivers. After work put on track wheels and dropped rear 135s at Costco for Pilot Super Sports.
Not sure what happened. Tread was very low, beyond wear bars, but not totally gone. I did some AutoX fun runs on these tires Saturday including some light drifting. Maybe I corded the inner shoulder and didn't know. Or had leak and let the air pressure get too low.
But the donut spare, as silly as it looks, got me to work and home. I guess runflats would have done the same if merely flat; not sure they work if sidewall is shredded.
For winter tires.....they are great. Winter's right around the corner......
Yeah, those 68 degree winters in San Diego are hellish! :biggrin
hey now... I had the 37deg alarm go off last year a few times
You guys just don't know what you're missing.
Steve, my experience driving some Blizzaks far enough north to know what they're actually for, is that they are going to be incredible in snow and especially ice. And on dry roads, you"re definitely going to know you're not on a performance tire. So, there's trade offs.
Awesome thanks for the input. My current 135's need powder coated as the clear is peeling so this may be a good option.... Hopefully these new wheels don't look like crap on the car.
