Dang!
In-state or out of state sale?
Congrats :(
It was a beauty.
## Probably one of the final updates on the car by me.
On August 8th, I dropped off my car to a friend for a pre-sale detail and photoshoot. This consisted a full detail w/ paint correction and for sale-style photoshoot. Since it was not my friend's day job, he worked on it after work over a course of a week. He sent pictures of the progress and it provided me with utter joy to see the car in that great of a condition. Sadly, I already made my decision to move on, and I think it is for the best.
I made a few mentions on here and the facebook group that my car was being setup for sale and I spoke with a few folks about it. One thing led to another and one of the ZHP Facebook Group members is purchasing the vehicle from me. Dustin from Georgia who is currently out in my neck of the woods, happily became the eyes of the future owner for viewing the car this past tuesday.
Long story short, a deposit has been made; rest of the money coming next week. The car will most likely be shipped out middle of next week. I'll leave the owner to mention himself here but I think he is more active on the ZHP Facebook Group than here.
I thought I share the pics since they are so wonderful.

It's been a blast. This is my favorite car I've ever owned and I think the new owner will enjoy it to the max. I will have to live vicariously through him. In the meantime, I'll bask in the glorious photos here and start my search for my next car, E90 M3.
- Sad to see it go, but I'm sure you'll move onto a fun track monster in either the E46 or E9x M3.
- Those photos make me :drool
- Can you homie come do my exterior :begging
Not sure if this salvage is of any use...

The paint on your car is amazing. I could only wish that my Jet Black looks something like this one day...
I hope you are able to find your dream car soon!
I just received Brett's payment.
The car will be shipping out tomorrow.
Sad day for me, but I'm glad it will be going to a great home. I'll have my dad take pics of it going away. :(
Looks great! I imagine it's very bitter sweet but eyes towards the future and the next project!
Yup, bittersweet I'm sure.

Indeed! The ZHP is just about at the point where it needs nothing but maintenance. Trucker still hasn't showed up and was expected from 9am-12noon. It's 2:39PM now and he is stuck in traffic..
I was looking at production numbers of the E90 M3 and the aggregated data shows that there are about 1055 E90 LCI 6MT out there in US/CA. That is one small pool for me to hunt down a car.
The requirements at the moment:
Year: 2009+
Transmission: Manual
Interior: Black
Exterior: Not Red.
Options: Nav for the screen.
Ideal options but not required: EDC, ZCP, Comfort Access, Cold Weather.
Any cool statistics about the ownership period?
What was the mileage when you bought it and sold it?
Either way good luck with your next car.
IM GLAD YOU ASKED.
Original Purchased Mileage: 72,188 Miles
Final Purchased: 72,513 Miles
Miles Drive: 72,513 Miles
Days Owned: 3,060 Days = 8.41 years
Average Miles/Day: 23.70 miles
Total spent on parts (non-maintenance) = $19.165.72
Trucker finally came and my dad took some pics. :sad

End of an era :(
We can still be friends...I guess.
Did your black car have the updated 4.5 lcm?
Derek, I just finished reading this entire thread from start to finish! I must say I knew that you had sold the car before I started reading but I wasn't prepared for how emotional it was to read about it after following the thread along for the last few days!
I admire all of the work and effort that you have put into the zhp, you truly did a wonderful job and have inspired me get out to a track with my own in the near future. I wish you all the best in your next project and hope to read all about it as well!
Ps I think you can't go wrong with either option but my vote would be E46 M first and then move on to an E9x later.
Incredible! I didn't expect anyone to read through. That is sure a lot of pages. :)
Thanks for the suggestion! I made a decision already though..
It's awaiting enclosed transport from Rhode Island to California.

wow looks awesome! congrats on the purchase.
I have a lot of free time to kill at work, I love reading good build threads that have a lot of detailed pics and such but my wallet hates when I do that since I almost always want to go out and pick up so more pieces for mine lol
I'm sure it would be a blast but I'm also sure that it will only take one time for me to get hooked. I'll have to wait for summer, it gets kinda cold up here lol but definitely wanna try it out. I have a few parts waiting to get put on until I have a spare moment that my wife isn't getting me to do projects around the house.
Rear sway bar bushings
Z4M FCABs
ZHP control arms
She should ride really nice after those get tackled
Deleted - wrong thread... lol
Thank you for doing the right thing re: the ECE tail lights! Damn you BMW for this red turn signal garbage you've been doing nowadays...
By the way, I think this update went in the wrong thread. :)
