Slow progress on disassembly of the engine currently in the 02. Decided to take the 2.0 bottom out and put it in the E21 (late 320 was really a 318). I'm thinking I should be around 110-115hp with the additional displacement and a rebuilt bottom end.

Once I have it out I can clean up the engine bay and maybe paint it.
Yesterday I installed a Gruppe M intake. Little did I know what that would do to me...
I couldn't stop grinning for a good 10 minutes after I did a test drive of it. It's been a long time since I had a mod do that to me.

Did what I guess is something of a standard trio last week- o2 sensor, oil level sensor and disa. At least they all went together for efficiency. Early if you just look at miles (just turned 60k), but after 10 yrs I'm not complaining. It's easy to take care of such a great car - and now I'd say it's 9.5/10 inside, out- and under the hood :).
