Minor setback. Girlfrieds neighbor decided to hit my rear bumper and cracked it. At least she fessed up and her insurance will be paying for the repairs.

I agree.
Since I work at a dealership, I talked to my bodyshop manager and decided to get my front bumper done as well since it was starting to get beat up from all the track/freeway driving I do.
In to the shop it goes! For now I'll be driving a Jetta...

Also updated the first two posts with a few more pics to fill in the missing parts as i found some pics.
Got around to getting this installed. Took less than 10 minutes to finish up!
I ordered the first aid underseat compartment. Here are the part numbers not including the first aid kit contents:
First Aid Box 52 10 7 044 958
First Aid Box Bracket 52 10 7 045 018
First Aid Box T30 Screw 07 14 9 169 302 (need two min. There are 3 holes)
These screws are short enough and will allow sport bolsters to be adjusted without getting caught on the screws.

Underneath the seat, you can visually see 3 holes that line up perfectly with the bracket. Install the bracket first, and then slide the first aid box in. You're done and fill it up with goodies!

Wow what's the cost of that compartment? I'd use it to store other stuff to keep clean!! We don't have enough storage alternatives in an E46 comported to a family minivan.
I think total cost after everything was less than $30bucks at my employee cost without the first aid kit. Dealerships will have to special order it, but they are available through the dealership. Those torx screws will save you a lot of hassle since most threads I've found on them do not state these two screws. I found them through the parts catalog at work.
ecstuning seems to be selling the box and bracket for $30 and the screws are less than $4. Their full kitf for $75 includes the kit contents.

best thing is, you can install one on either seat. The driver side has the available mounting holes as well. :)
