It also made installing the first aid box bracket a lot easier with the seat propped back. Need to find some shorter screws as the 3/4" ones stop the thigh support from working properly.

Thanks. Still a lot to do. I hope to get the studs and spacers on in the next few days. Need to get PDR done and am probably a few weeks out from front end respray. Still runs a bit rough when cold. New O2 sensors are on hand. I may pull a plug or two and inspect them (they are supposedly new). Need to paint rear deck and replace c-pillars.
Rough cold starts? Sounds like its time for Dr. VANOS!

It idles fine but has some hesitation. No noticeable VANOS rattle at any RPM though.Quote:

Cool we can definitely help with the VANOS. I've done two of my own and helped Chris Merritt do his. Procedure is pretty straight forward. Take stuff off and put stuff back on. No timing or odd work necessary.

Nah, That stuff was cleaned by a tool that I really didn't know how to operate. My 2007 D830 is as slow as molasses. Just tried to clean it up a bit...
