^Ooooooooh, aaaaaaaaaah!
Looks really nice Marc. As for Friday, doesn't your zhp have a self-cleaning feature?!

No but it apparently has a self pollinating feature.
And thanks!
went into a shop for an alignment today and an hour later they called and said they couldn't do it because I was lowered on coilovers and my wheels are aftermarket.
What do you guys think... BS or is there something to this? :dunno
I think they ran out of talent
I have been refused at local "franchises" in my lowered e30 on stock wheels, they want to do it with 150 pound special tool to simulate driver in the drivers seat and it wont read correct for them to have no responsibility for whatever may or may not happen with normal wear issues or any accidents.
I wouldn't want to negotiate with someone that is uncomfortable with the job, find a place that specializes in alignments and corner balancing.
yeah i hear ya.
too bad, they had a special for $49.99.
Guess I'll be paying $125 for the pros. Oh well, I tried.
Replaced stock kidney grills with piano black grills. Let me tell you all something, that job sucked. I am a fairly patient guy and not bad at putting things together. I struggled with this simple job. I struggled to the extent of breaking two of the plastic tabs and becoming frustrated to the point of almost throwing both of them down the street. Anyway, they are on but the one is slightly loose due to the tab being broke. Anything I can do? It's not going anywhere but it bothers me a bit.
They probably only have the alignment machine, that uses the pins, in the wheels for the alignment. When I used to take mine to Casey BMW (before my BBS), they would have to send it to their other alignment machine at Casey Chevrolet. You can see the difference below...
Additionally....some shops....when they see you're lowered on coilovers won't touch it because they know they can't achieve the spec. Idiots.
See the pin holes? BBS rims and oem BMW rims have these alignment holes.

No pin holes (non stock wheel). Alignment tool has to "grab" the edge of the rim.
