Are there LED bulbs to replace the regular bulbs in a RCR? Have been meaning to mount my RCR. But I still have the Depo LED tails. If there are LED bulbs, this might finally motivate me with a kick to my butt to mount the RCR.Quote:

Yea, I have a bunch of super bright 1156 LED bulbs at my house. They throw an error though which is the downside and the turn signals blink really fast. If you run resistors you won't have the issue anymore.. I haven't bothered.Quote:

Yes. I run a full LED setup, with the exception of running lights since they don't change state so LED is pointless with those. LED brake light, turn signal, and reverse bulbs. Use CREE CANBUS bulbs and you will get the brightest bulbs you can get but without errors and hyperflash on the turn signals. Specifically, I used 25W bulbs, but I would do 50W if I had to do it again.Quote:

Hyper flash is just the act of LED bulbs that don't have the correct resistance flashing very fast when activated, like when you have a bulb out. LED bulbs require resistors to be added otherwise they will flash quickly. Buying CANBUS bulbs would be best because they already have the circuitry inside them that prevents hyper flash, and will not trigger a bulb-out warning like ones without the resistors.
I bought mine on eBay. Please PM me so I will remember to look it up later for a link. It's eBay so the sellers change constantly.
