If you're running 35W ballasts and have lamin-x film on your fogs, you'll be okay. I've been running 35w ballsts on lamin-x fogs on both of my cars over 4years on the ///M and three years on the ZHP w/o any issues so far :thumbsup
If you decide to run with 55w ballasts on fogs you will run into heating issues where the plastic lens will melt. In fact, it is not recommended to run 55w ballasts on fogs...

Marcus,
I was going to run with 55w ballasts for my fogs when I upgraded them to HID but have heard too many issues regarding melting of the plastic fog housing/lens using them from others at M3Forum so I opted to stay with 35W ballasts instead. I still get decent light output but would have loved the intense light output from the 55w ballasts instead. Problem is I didn't want to chance melting my OEM fog housings as they cost a pretty penny to get.....so 35w ballasts is all I use.
I can say that at least there won't be any issues if anyone were to upgrade to HID's using 35w ballasts for their fog lights...
Replaced the broken door trim clips some had tried to glue previously.

Thanks. Not sure why PO didn't. He has/had 4 BMWs. Seems as though he was at the dealer pretty regularly. Wow, fixed the typo too.
So a took a little break from work and thought I'd take a picture of the clear side markers. Well wouldn't you know it, when I took one off, the clip fell down inside the panel. I fished with a magnetic tool to no avail and decided to try and get to it from the wheel well. I still haven't found the clip but did find about 1.5 cups of solid packed frozen dirt.
