The Vanos, Oil Filter Cap and Dipstick are so shinny now the rest of the aluminum parts look dull.
I was going to install the ECSTuning pulley and belts but in order to remove the fan shrouds you have to take off the upper radiator hose and the under panel. Wasn't as easy as I anticipated.
I had to pull the fan shrouds off to change my alternator so once they came off I left them off. They seem like a nuisance because you'd have to bleed the coolant system everyone you wanted at it. I'm sure with it out I could modify the shroud so it can fit back in with an upper rad hose cutout.
Ya I was thinking about doing the same thing. It's kinda retarded you have to remove the radiator hose just to remove that side of the shroud.Quote:

Painted the shields and lens holder with Hi Temp (2000 degree) flat black paint.
