Great looking pics everyone. And thanks for the comments on the X. I too still think the E70 is a little more muscular and aggressive looking, which I like, but the F15 is good looking in M-Sport trim.
And Ryan, the E70 had an option for 3rd row seating as well, so that's nothing new. The ///M never got the option, not sure if the F15 X5///M will get the option. I still don't find it necessary.
I can't say that I have never sat in a 3rd row but I haven't done so since watching a bit about the safety for a rear-end collision and 3rd row seating on one of those British car shows (I don't remember which one). It might have been a bit extreme, SUV was stationary or not moving very fast and was rear-ended by a Semi Truck at highway speeds, but they made a good enough of a case for me to never want to sit in one again or own a vehicle with them. I tried to search for the bit on youtube but couldn't find it.

Morning Mafia. Hope your monday goes well.
i agree 100%, however when doing some reading about the E70 with 3rd row option, i found that BMW hadn't done a 3rd row in a vehicle until that point because they couldn't find a way to safely do it. apparently the E70 with the 3rd row is structurally very different from the non-3rd row vehicles - enough so that you cannot retrofit a 3rd row seat into one not originally equipped.
as someone whose wife has been pestering him for a 7-seater vehicle (and she likes the E70), i was pleased to find the above info when researching - as i had been defiantly against 3rd-row vehicles (and still am :) ).
