Now that I've corrected all leaks, it hasn't used a drop of oil in that 1,400 miles, so the internals must still be good. ;)

That's great!

"ZHP is a garbage option anyway- just some cosmetic upgrades with a different cam and diff to claw back some of the performance lost fitting those hideous and heavy wheels. Any 330 with a 3.46 diff will smoke a ZHP every time. The whole Mafia thing reeks of childish behavior." - an e46fanatic
Seeing all the posts from people here with 200k+ miles gives me hope for a long and fulfilling relationship with my ZHP. :)

Bam that magic moment when you happen to look down and see this.
Car had 3/10 of a mile on it when I bought it new.
Btw fixed my oil leak. It wasn't eating oil it was the front main seal.
Nice!

Yea now only thing bad is they say I need new cats. Damn this will make it the 2nd replacement of these.
I'm not doing anything though till I have to for emissions in November.
Yea....I think perhaps the friggen ccv hosed sucked oil through the system and made them bad ???
I went over 45K last week. I realize I need a service. How much of it should I try to do myself? I did an oil change less than 4K miles ago.
BP is right and I did all of Inspection II as one of the first things to "get acquainted" with my car when it needed it at 60k. Was fun and learned a lot. "Hardest" thing was the fuel filter which I think you were there for at Shawn's, can't remember, but yeah, plugs, and oil/tranny/diff fluid flushes are easy. I would not pay anyone to do spark plugs on this car or really any straight/inline/slant six...they are RIGHT there in a line.
I believe this is the service schedule:
15k = oil change
30k = inspection I
45k = oil change
60k = inspection II
... and so on.
3k miles, but how long ago ? If it's close to one year I would change the oil again.

Have driven almost 2000 miles since I purchased 12/27/15, but that includes 400 miles on initial delivery day drive from CT to VA.
I've officially put 30,000 miles on her in the last year and 4 months! Now at 132,800!
Dang.
Just rolled pass 105,000.
I'm at 99,958... I guess I should enjoy her now before she crests 100k and loses all her value :)
Actually, I should finally be done with all the engine gaskets, cooling system, mounts, exhaust/intake, new wheels/tires, and full suspension rebuild by 100k. So basically a new car! At least that's what I'll tell myself.
When I parked it Saturday after my final test drive of the club drive we're doing the weekend after next.
