It's sounds like you're confusing (adjustable) camber plates with the strut tower reinforcement plates Lawrence.

As far as whether you don't need the reinforcement plates if you have the strut brace I'd suggest using both. Bolting something to the top of the strut tower isn't going to give as much strength as installing a plate underneath. Much more surface contact from underneath. Especially in the case of the BMW Performance strut brace, it only contacts the top of the strut tower in 3 thumbprint sized places, it doesn't sit flat on top of the strut tower.

Went over Terras this morning and he cleared my check engine light since I fixed my secondary air pump vacuum leak, he also enabled my windows to roll up remotely and I had him set the sun roof to not move when using the remote roll up/down :D
