Man I never update this thread but did want to post up a data point in that I managed to do a Shark Injector restore tonight (pulled the programming, reloaded stock) with my little lithium battery and 4.3a CTEK charger. I was nervously glancing between the lights on the Shark and the lights on the charger for the entire 15 minutes but it ran the full cycle without a hitch and then started right up.

Have you looked into the Mini Cooper/CSL battery? Supposedly it saves a few lbs while not costing more than a normal battery and without losing any convenience compared to the standard size battery.Quote:
