Thanks Justin... I'm about half way complete refreshing my driver's seat in the ///M. Now I know why people would rather buy new seats instead of refreshing them. When the time comes, I'm getting myself a set of BMW Performance seats.

Those damned hog rings are a major PITA!

Hog ring pliers makes it easier but not by much.

Derek, I got hog ring pliers but unfortunately, they were not the right size...Home Depot didn't have smaller ones. I ended up using pliers/needle nose pliers to do the job. Right now my fingers as well as my back are sore. I'm guessing I will get back to the seats in a few days once my back recovers.....right now I will be taking pain pills and then hooking up in the jacuzzi tomorrow morning.

There is no reason for anybody to be touching the carbon fiber parts, so this is a moot point. There's a door handle for a reason. :biggrin

Except extra cash to dump on and finding a alpine white 2006 zcp to replace it. Not to mention all the work I did to the zhp means I need to do it all over to the M3 again.

After playing around with those damned hog rings all day I've decided in a few weeks I will be placing an order for a set of BMW Performance seats....I'm done killing myself swapping seat covers.....no wonder people will simply either put up with degrading seats or just pay money to have them replaced...:rofl

Anyway, I will be sleeping in tomorrow and after breakfast I'm heading off to the jacuzzi for much needed therapy after starting today's project...:facepalm
