Yeah, it's just not cost effective. It's simply smarter to drop in a better engine.
I'd love to drop in a Yamaha 3.0 or 3.2 that was used in the older Ford SHO's. Those things can be built to rev to 10k reliably. It would be beautiful.

Makes sense. I guess it's probably the same answer for bore/stroking an S54?
Some of my childhood memories revolve around those engines. My "ex" step-dad used to be the team manager for the Firestone Firehawk series that ran those cars (ran 4 of them decked out in TMNT paint scheme for one year) for several years along with the Ford Probes.
Little different story with the s54 I think. $8k though.

Man that's a lot of money lol
Oh yeah. But the sound a stroked s54 makes is probably amazing lol.
How is the positive terminal connected to the alternator ? is it VR > Terminal > bolt or is there a washer between the terminal and the VR ?
Need to buy some ATF fluid to top up the power steering reservoir.
Is this sufficient?

Also, they have a DISA valve for $245. Seems oddly low… think that's correct for an OEM part?
