You’re probably hearing lifter tick. Common after autox or track use. I’d you’re just driving normally, likely low on oil.
My Miata ticks all the time, however.

Thanks guys. I’m planning an oil change this weekend along with swapping on winters. We’ll see if it does the trick.

CCV time on the wife's ZSP :(
Is there any reason to NOT get this cold weather OE kit?

Should I take the intake manifold off, or not?
Best option out there. Easier to pull the manifold but the job can be done with it still installed. If you pull the manifold off, it's a rabbit hole with " while I'm in here"
Replace the iacv grommet and throttle body gasket as well.

I'd say, if youve never taken off the intake manifold, then do it because rabbit hole
The car barely had 105k on it.
My zhp is at 161k and never had the manifold off.
Pull the manifold. Go ahead and fall down the hole like the rest of us.

I'm sure I'll find another time in the next 50k to pull the manifold. I'm going to skip it this time.
For a non-manifold job, any other things to purchase?
Throttle body o-ring? Seems like this is rare.
ICV gasket..thingy? Seems rare, too.
Anything else?
