Her car is actually "Mineral White Metallic", not Alpine White like the X3 and my car are. To be honest, I think the MWM is a prettier color, just don't tell my ZHP... :shifty

Update for anyone in the future.. Put trans in neutral(car is an auto). Mark driveshaft (both ends) before you start. and rotate until the splines line up. I think that is my issue. Will test and report back!

sillieidiot finished up with the car - cleaning up the messy wiring, stowing the 4 ballasts underneath the headlights, re-aiming the retrofitted Morimoto Minis, etc.
One of the Orion V2s was still half-mooning but after swapping out the factory battery, it was fully functional again.

Apparently Duralast has discontinued the 49DL which was a under-$100 battery option for the E46. Instead, I paid twice as much ($200) for the new 94R Gold.

Will post pics of the newly-aimed Minis and cleaned up factory projectors with Osram CBIs later at night. :)

Looks pretty good in pictures. I may have to do this to my OEM's in the attic before selling them, letting them know (of course) that they have been dipped.

Ok, I guess I'm further behind on this thread than I thought (was hoping I didn't need to go back and catch up, apparently I do). I didn't realize you let the x3 go. Congrats on the diesel!

Lol, yeah, traded the X3 in last week. I tried to sell it for $39,500 and the dealer wants $44,990 now.... Insanity!!
