Took the car on a drive to Georgetown to scope out a couple roads. It was a pretty fun drive with some good altitude and twists. Highway 193 and 49 are fun roads and the drive is only about 2 hours there and back.
Took advantage of my wife being out of town for yoga instructor training, my 16yo studying with her friends (and making a mess in our kitchen cooking crepes (but they were good!), and the beautiful weather to get the car washed at a touchless wash and then clayed it in the garage and I'm most of the way through polishing it with M205/105 and my Griot's DA. I hope to go back over it tomorrow after church with Klasse high gloss sealant glaze. I of course am skipping the newly painted parts.

Awesome! Definitely in the plans for my car, and boy, does Jane need it!
I need to find a polisher, though. Not sure I want to throw down to buy one. My friend has one and he owes me a favor, so I think I'll call it in.
I'm more jealous about the crepes, though.

Shawn, that sounds great. Tell you what, this Friday I will work from home. Maybe I can wash the Mini at lunch time.
Installed a newer OEM headunit , Bosch wiper blades, and a new steering coupler.
Today I washed 'er up and checked fluids and pressures. My first autocross in the ZHP is tomorrow :)
