Uhhhh...they wanted $2800 to build the exhaust and fab the headers into the stock location...gonna learn how to weld I think.

Wow seems like a ton of money. I've never paid that much to have an exhaust built for any previous cars.

Yeah...thats what I'm freaking out about. Sure they guys need to get paid...but the second shop quoted me two days of labor. 16 hours at $45 per hour and $1000 in parts. Muffler, resonator, piping, mandrel bends, and clamps.Quote:

Not a bad idea. A friend of mine in SC learned how to weld and built his own headers and oil cooler for his Mini. VERY useful skill.Quote:
