Yelled at the snow told it to stop damn it.
Did it work?
Yes, but stopped to late and it us 14 degrees outside.
Looks like you're getting our storm out there. If it's like it was here, it'll be off on off on off on.
I know I'm going agains't the family by asking this, but is there a thread for FS discussion? My ZHP turns 11 on Monday (03/03/03 build date) I've enjoyed the past nearly 8 years with her, but I'm about to be jobless for about two years while in a professional school. I'm considering prepping the car for sale (removing some mods, putting OEM wheels back on, etc, etc, etc), selling her and looking for either a newer, lower mileage ZHP or perhaps something else with roundel (CPO x5, x3, x1, 135i, etc). The only thing is, Edmunds says my car is only worth about $5700. This seems crazy LOW to me. 2003 123K 2 owner car, loaded (HK, Nav, Leather, Xenon's, sunroof, etc), complete maintenance done at 100k, fresh suspension all around. If its only worth $5700 then I'm just going to keep it. Am I missing something here?
*goes to check other car value calculator websites*
Keep it…..
KBB said $8k, but then NADA said $6k.
I guess I'm going to have it forever, I don't think I could part ways with her for less than $10k. I guess I'll have to wait until after professional school to get my second BMW. Until then I'm going to try to soften the suspension back up, 19's ride too rough, Memphis roads are crap.
I do this every few years, have ever since I bought her. I'll snap out of it in a few days.
We don't allow "feelers", but you're asking a different question, and it's a legitimate one. I agree with Charlie, what's the point in selling it if the price is THAT low? Seems too low but as euro cars get older, maint. issues, etc come into play so I think the value drops even more. Maybe then they get to the point where the become "classic"-ish and begin to rise back up in price after all the junkers are gone. I think there are probably too many poor examples available polluting the pool for pristine ones.
Wait, so because you'll be jobless soon, you want to sell your zhp for a lower mileage one? I don't follow. I feel like that'll be a negative cash flow situation.
If you DO want to sell, for reference, my zhp with 115k was $11,000 in October 2013. It needed $3500 in work, so you should be able to get at least $11k for yours if you set it back to OEM, I think.
