best way to not have to pay um is to not get um. :dunno
It says "Voluntary" so don't pay it. Problem solved.
I wasn't speeding you guys..
This is my second ticket that handed into me.. People hate to see young person driving a $15k bmw. I guess he also saw the front plate and thought something else.. :D
Iv only ever had one ticket, lesson learned. If I'm driving fast it's not around others. Slow down man, iv seen to many fatal accidents, we don't need to be seeing you total your car and get hurt. It's just not worth it
77kph.. isn't that like 5mph anyway ;)
I drove to Montreal last weekend and over the border it's a 100kph max zone, all the Quebec plates are cruising like 120-130. On the NY side there were state troopers sprinkled all around I87, I was doing ~5 over, a WRX doing 10 over passed me and few miles later saw him having a chat with one, yikes. Had the cruise set at +5 after that, heh.
yeah I try to keep my cruising to +7 over or less. The few minutes saved isn't worth the few hundred bucks you'd end up paying out - not to mention 3 yrs of increased insurance rates.
I usually flow with traffic, but sometimes I encourage traffic to flow with me.
+1. Usually when you're about 7 over, they'll let you just pass by. Then after that is when it's up to the specific cop and what he wants to do and what traffic flow is like.
Same here. I usually like to be the one following and not leading. On my way back from bimmerfest this year I cruised behind a nice new 7er (non-bimmerfest attendee) for a lot of my highway trip back. Sometimes they get antsy though and think that you're wanting to go by them and pull into the normal driving lane a few times. I just keep following :)
