I was like that last summer when I did my valve guide adjustments with a help from a local friend... I was also fascinated by how awesome the engine looked! So I'm kinda hooked in doing this...

Everything looks great for 106K. Just a broken chain tensioner guide. For some reason I'm more nervous about doing the valve adjustment. [emoji15]

Got it all done. I rebuilt the vanos with the Beisan orings, anti rattle kit, oil pump disk and solenoid. Replaced the sprocket and hub bolts, did a valve adjustment and set the engine timing. Started it up and it idles perfect, nice and quiet. I had a slight vibration at 3000K so I called Rajaie at Beisan Systems and left a message. He called me back shortly afterward and it's Sunday!! Great customer service!!

Fan shroud mod! Now I can remove the drivers side shroud without removing the radiator hose.

Nice idea on the plastic shroud. I haven't had that on for quite some time just because it was the biggest PITA to get off to work on things.
