Doesn't look good :(
Here are the screen caps from INPA. Let me know if you think a singular fault is tripping all of them. Idle is loping and the engine is physically shaking when I look at it. My DSC and brake light are lit in orange at start up. It doesn't go away.

It definitely looks like the O2 sensors went...but why would it trip the other codes. I'm nervous about this whole thing.
I must have lost my ambient temp sensor on the way home...Potholes everywhere. The only problem is it doesn't say it's -40 or 122 degrees out.
So who has the best price for OEM Bosch pre-cat oxygen sensors??
Found some on Amazon for $42.00 ea. plus Prime shipping...Any chance local stores will have the genuine item?
Hard to be believe they both just go bad... In an instant?

That's what I'm thinking...but I will clean the intake track tomorrow and see if that works out.

Justin,
I had the front bumper off of one of the cars for a day or two, the ambient temp sensor unplugged, it threw all kinds of error codes because the engine didn't know what the ambient temp was to feed the correct air/fuel mixture. Try the temp sensor first, it may solve some of your other problems.
Gosh I hope so!
I am actually planning to swap all the shit from the 328 on Sunday. I can't live with the fact that I'm leaking coolant and my radiator isn't really mounted properly square. Hopefully the weather is cooperative.
I've discovered that the shop didn't use the proper coolant. Because dried green coolant deposits are splattered all over the front of the block...fuck, I'm so annoyed at that GD mailbox.

It sucks, how problems stack on top of eachother.
At least you have the back up car! I hope you get everything fixed soon!

So Dario, since you've been here before, what is it besides the four bolts on the top piece of the rad support that is holding it in place? Going to see if I can't find one in a junk yard. Hopefully I can get an untouched OEM. IIRC, you said that the aftermarket pieces are absolute shit?
Back up car hasn't run since March 2013...I took it apart for a project and couldn't get it to run. will be sold to auction for whatever I can get for it, which is why I don't give a shit about what's good or bad about it. But it currently has all the goodies like my poly mounts and FCABs and the Stewart WP. That's all I really invested into it before I was in a two car incident (not at fault) however the car was never the same afterwards.
Car cleared the CEL on its own. Hope it stays that way. Its also 53 degrees here after it snowed 4 inches yesterday...

Well it cleared up finally and I was able to replace my windshield cowling and install a working washer pump. No longer will I drive into the sun with a salt covered windshield! All-in-all it was a good day :-)
Still thinking about my coolant leak. The next time that light comes on its gonna be taken to the shop to have the coolant drained. And I will install a perfectly square rad core support, working water pump and get all the green deposits removed. I'm due to my first oil change...don't kill me, but it's almost been 10000 miles of ownership and I haven't changed it!
My rear view mirror should be here tomorrow as well.

That's it? Solid. That should be a simple swap. The mounts for the radiator are where the issue is I think. Will inspect it on Sunday. Got any torque values? I have a Bentley, but its in the car right now.
Sent from my GS3.
Bahahahaha! Dude that's a great torque value. I'm saving that one for later in my adventures. Seriously laughing to myself out loud in my living room.

Hahaha. I knew you'd appreciate the reference.
If anyone doesn't get it, watch this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ft1IkFZkJts
Highly recommend. It's hilarious.
New mirror installed! Love it already.

Is that a grey clown nose? --Sad clown :-(
So, pardon my ignorance, but what's the difference with the mirror? Is the Z4 mirror smaller?
Totally different shape!
Sent from my oversized iPhone | HTC One
The Z4 mirror is rounder and slightly smaller. The clown nose is smoked for a stealthy appearance. It definitely looks different from the outside. I like it. However the clown nose hasn't lit up. I did plug it in, so that might be a coding issue.
:-) Stealth clown.

Probably coding. Bulb work on original car?
:rofl
Was that in your first page of image hits?
It was working, however I don't know if the wires are the same, different or otherwise. No matter, it works and I don't have an alarm, so it's no biggie atm.
That looks great Justin! Let us know if you get the clown nose to light up. Shawn, too funny.
I like that mirror! Great work

This was an eBay auction I won for $120. They are definitely out there for good prices. Keep your eyes peeled if you want this mirror.
Search terms are: "BMW e84 Z4 rear view mirror." GL!!
Thanks for the props, gang :)
The bulb in my mirror doesn't work either.
Looks gteat , by the way. I love the form.

Hmm I may have to crack it open and see what's up with the LED.

Went to BMW today and placed an order for my center console refresh/ armrest delete. Picked up two new roundels and some coolant. My parts guy was kind enough to put it on the house. This is why I love my dealership :-) parts are going to total to well over $300. Cant wait to have a minty interior!

Nice guy!

Your new Roundel is totally cool. Where'd you get that?
Thanks! Had some stickers cut and laid them over the blue and white. Part of the roundel.
