The ZHP shift knob looks funny on such a long shift lever. :biggrin
That car seems to be apart or getting an upgrade more than it's on the road! So much for "just" a daily driver!

JP the ZHP shift knob may look out of place but I bet it feels right :)
thanks guys, I'm currently tracking down electrical gremlins. For some reason my turn signal and wipers work only when they feel like it (and it's not the hazard switch, already fixed that). As for the shifter, I'm thinking of getting the super short Z3 lever since my linkage is so sloppy and needs replacing anyways
^actually, that sounds about right... this is what it would look like installed in an E46

Couldn't find a spot where I could at least have one side safe against a pillar or wall or handicapped/no parking zone. So went up 2 floors to get a spot like this.
5 seconds later, a silver E90 328i parked right next to me.
Bimmers park next to bimmers... it's an unwritten law
I forgot to post yesterday, but 2 days ago I put the windows down about 2 inches on the passenger side of my car to air out the mcdonalds smell after I got home. Then yesteday when I went to go to school and it was snowing, I realized I never put my windows up. So my passenger side got a good 1/4 inch of snow :rofl
Good part though: No McDonald's smell!
I try to do it.
Picked up my headers!!
Pics later. Tomorrow I get to do headers, oil change, radiator, suspension and tire rotation.
Sent from my GSIII, bitches.
Installed my lighted ZHP knob from the new F10 M5. Looks great! Had a hard time holding the camera still enough in the dark to get a good pic though. I'll have to try again another day.

I removed the leather boot off the new knob and reused my Alcantara boot.
I tapped into the wiring for the lighting on the left side window switches. I just matched up the wire colors.....grey/red stripe (positive) and brown (ground) from the knob wires and the switch wires and luckily they were still matching colors from the E46 to the F10 wiring harness.
I would have preferred to use the cig lighter light wiring but it looked like the wires might have been cutting it close on length and I wanted to avoid having to add another splice to lengthen the wires an inch or two.
