What did you do for your ZHP/ BMW / MINI today? #2

Did you see my comment on fb? You should make a cap instead of grinding the rest of the heat sink

I only ground about 2mm total length on main fins. But rounded off the sides to match the profiles of the original lens

I have two sets of the x5 lights (ordering mistake) so if this first one doesn't work I should be ok with backup.

How would you make caps? Like use the caps that come on later headlights? I have a set of zkw e46 bixenon assembles. Maybe that rubber seal would fit?

X5 LED foglights mounted in e46 housings. TRS had a sale on them last year. I should have bought them then.

The X5 fog lights. They had a pair for $95. They we begging someone to do a swap lol.
