I installed black grilles. Not the best quality and one tab on the factory grilles broke during the removal process. But after way too long in the searing heat I got the new ones placed well and very much liking the new look.
I didn't find a thread to confirm where you all are buying your aftermarket grilles. I opted for ECS and wasn't overly impressed with the less than stellar quality in comparison to the factory version. YMMV...
I would bet that all or most of the flat black ones come from the same place. I wasn't real impressed with my aftermarket flat black ones either. I ended up getting the BMW gloss black ones. Much better quality and the gloss just matches better too IMO.Quote:
