Went for a cruise in the mountains yesterday with my buddy. He in the C4 and myself in the E21. We had a blast. The Vette just walks away from this little car in the straights but the E21 corners surprisingly well. Very competent little downhill car.

Something something something Hennarot
this was from last night. we are away for a week visiting my in-laws and my wife's sisters and their families... the kids wanted to take the montero. "BAH!" says dad... we can totally fit everything in the ZHP! we have a lot of driving to do on this trip, so i figure i'm saving myself at least $200 in gas...
packed in this picture:
- 1 dirty ZHP w/ roof rack and thule 13cu-ft roof carrier
- 1 wife
- 2 kids
- 2 small suitcases
- 1 large suitcase (larger than both smalls put together, LOL)
- 1 cooler
- 1 acoustic guitar w/ hardshell case
- 2 sleeping bags
- 1 mobile office (i gotta work)
- 1 scooter (my son's gotta hit the local skateparks)
- 1 helmet
- 1 tool bag
...and there was still some room left in the trunk! :) on the 3.5hr journey last night, i averaged about 26.5mpg with the A/C on and doing 75mph. :) not bad with all of that drag!
