Also cleaned the calipers with some qd. I'm pretty sure e82 calipers are space gray.

My car died on me today.
Started my car after my dad and I got back from dinner to let it warm up before I left (I never do this). 5 minutes later I go out to leave and my traction control/ABS/BRAKE lights are on. Sheet. Then I decide I don't want to drive home with all those systems inactive on my cold trip home with ice and the possibilities of deer.
Shut the car off, went to turn on... click click click. She's dead! After a jump, she ran.. but oddly. interior lights were really dim & flickering, then low beams dim/flickering, and then the tc/ABS/BRAKE lights came on, went off in place of the airbag light. Then my tach in my cluster wasn't working. Wasn't sure about speedo as I wasn't moving. Sat for a minute and it regained itself and I drove off in hopes of making it home OK.
So. Alternator or battery? Or both?
