Haha I was on my friends farm riding the huge blueberry picker machine. They're building a new house on the farm. They make money with their blueberry picker while I lose money with my blueberry. LOL

That's only half of it. The other "wing" isn't even in the pic. They're Indian and so they all live under the same roof and pay cash for everything as their incomes are all pooled together. As they pay no interest they can purchase more properties and cars for the oldest one still living there and it just trickles down. Living in high cost Vancouver makes that more of a need today! LOL
that's actually a very interesting philosophy. my wife dreams of a 'family compound' for her mother, sisters and their families and us. there are some aspects of that idea that would be really great - others not so great (i like my space :)).Quote:
