But it is mine..........help me sell this bad boy.
Why hasn't this sold??
No idea, I can only surmise that the mileage is scaring everyone away. I took very good care of this car and I too thought it would sell in a week or less.
Bump.
I cannot believe that not one person has called to look at this car!
Is it that badly overpriced?
I might be interested. My ZHP is totaled by the insurance company, and while titanium silver isn't my first choice, it's what I have now! Plus my car has 191K miles, pretty close to 200K. The only thing is flying to the NorthEast and driving it home would be a long trip... I guess I could try to arrange a business trip to Boston, see the car on the side, and ship it back if I buy it.
But road trips are the best!

Sure, why not?
Price drop $5700 obo!
Still for sale?

Yes, unfortunately.
3 or 4 low ball offers, sight unseen, but that's it.
I think it's a good deal, especially being a one-owner car with a clean title. However, 200K miles is scary to many. I got used to it because I drove mine from 135K to 191K and was planning to drive it to 300K if possible. But now its fate is in the hands of the insurance company.
Anyone know how much to ship a car from RI to California--$1200? $800?
Check http://www.montway.com/
Thanks, here's what the Montway web site quotes for a BMW 330i from Smithfield RI to Nor Cal:
Open trailer -- Credit card: $1769 Cash: $1669
Enclosed trailer -- Credit card $2089 Cash: $1989 (+$320 either way)
OUCH!!
That's does seem high. Try uship.com and get quotes? How much is gas, hotel, food...?

These places are highly rated but Stateway have their own trucks.
I have used them and I have gotten deals, I also have used Intercity for enclosed but pricey.
Trucking prices change with Diesel prices. So be aware of that.
Yes those rates look much more reasonable, less than half the Montway rates. I noticed Montway didn't ask what year the car was. Maybe they assumed it's an E90 330i so are charging more for it.
Bump for price cut.
So where is the rust spot issues exactly? How does the sunroof function? Are there any interior pieces that need replacement? Oil consumption? Coolant consumption? Tires and brakes? Pending what I get from insurance and after the buy back procedure, I will be in the market for a ZHP or a Porsche 944 Turbo. I like the ZHP for practicality. I like the 944 because it was my first car and it looks great.
Rust is over rear passenger wheel well and on right windshield frame. No interior issues, but sagging rear pillar fabric. Sunroof perfect. oil consumption--yes but modest. no coolant consumption of any sort that I have seen. rear tires are brand new, front have about 12000 miles on them.
brakes feel fine, done about 40000 miles ago.
So, these are the types of texts/emails I am getting.
"Zhps are awesome but with 200+k and rust it's still a 2500$ car if u want a fast
sale I'll come get it for 2500$"
Ughh so frustrating!!
Man I feel like I really got ripped off then! ;-)
If you are not in a big hurry, the right buyer will come along.
Thumbs, iPhone, Tapatalk.
extremely frustrating. shawn is correct, the right buyer will come along.
my black 2005 ZHP coupe has 227K miles, but was a 1-owner car when i bought it in the spring. fortunately it's rust-free, but i imagine getting similar emails, for sure. you just have to ignore them.

Just saying, if I was close to you, I would probably buy this very quickly. People with these $2.5k lowball offers are stupid. It's worth more no matter the miles. The right buyer will come!! Good luck
Thanks, appreciate the support.
Still available btw
It is a really slow market at the moment. I've had my 540i up at a STEAL of a price for about 2 weeks now. Any lower and I'm giving it away. My shop, which sells a fair amount of cars on the side (MA dealer license)- has been sitting on the same few cars for 2 months now. Normally, cars fly off his lot within a weeks time.
I know it is painfully to keep waiting, but it should pick up soon.
Had three dudes show up at 8:30 last night to look at my car. Not one of them could drive a manual transmission. LOL
If it wasnt for bad luck, I would have no luck at all selling this bad boy.
:mob
Someone apparently posted my CL ad on a Facebook page for "tuners" and I have had no fewer than 6 inquiries today and 3 scheduled showings!!!
Who would have known?
I hope someone brings cash!
That was me, hopefully helpful. Sorry I didn't think it earlier or ask you first.

I certainly hope that they do too.
Thank you very much for the post. No worries that you didnt ask me. These dudes are serious--dont seem to be tire kickers.
I will buy you lunch in Boston some day for your efforts here.
Never asked- what did you replace the ZHP with?
Found this needle in a haystack and had to buy it.Attachment 15338
