What are everyone's maintenance day plans?
I'm hoping to do the following (at least the first two):
-Front swaybar links
-Underdrive pulleys, belts, and other pulley replacement
-GAS DISA repair kit
I will need major guidance, so any help will be much appreciated.
That should be doable! Pulleys aren't to bad except the PITA alternator. I know we had a hard time with BP's sway bar end links but, that was related to tools and compressor capacity, that I don't think we'll encounter.Quote:

I've got an old SnapOn 3/8 drive air impact, 2) 1/2 drive air impacts, 1) 1/4 & 2) 3/8 drive air ratchets, an air chisel, air grinder and the Milwaukee M12 impact and drill. Also have metric sockets in 1/4, 3/8 shallow & Deep & 1/2 shallow impact. The compressor is an old school 5 HP that seams to do the job.Quote:

For the turn signal bulbs at least, it's best to remove the headlight assembly. Not sure if the same applies to the low/high beam and DRL/FTP bulbsQuote:

It might be a good idea, Dane - in case John's kit doesn't have the right size. Juuuuuuust in case! :)
I don't think I can buy a new one from the stealer, Guy - it's cross threaded. I thought the fix for that was to tap new threads in a larger size, no? The factory bolt would be too loose in there in that case.

I know you want to polish your window trim. Unfortunately, I had totally forgotten to clean my pads from this weekend. I just cleaned them tonight, but they most certainly will not be dry by the time I leave tomorrow morning...
I can bring my product if you'd like. Frank said he's bringing some of his stuff too, so between the two of us, we should be able to knock this out still. I have other goodies in my kit, just not my pads.
They're also 6" pads, which are too big to do the window trim properly. I wasn't too concerned with the trim when I did them; I only did my trim while doing my doors, so 6" wasn't an issue for me. A 3" pad would be better suited for the job if we want to do it right...
Frank, do you have a 3" machine and pads?
I have 3inch pads and the backing plate for my Porter cable. I'll bring it along.Quote:

I have 4. We're a little limited as to how many cars are on stands because of the angle of my driveway. I'm thinking 2 in the garage and maybe 2 in front, if needed.
