The wagon went off the beaten path yesterday

Cool pics. I like the interior one thru the sunroof. Touring looks great.

Those pictures are sick!!! That I nice photo shoot!
Shawn, I guess I missed the thread somewhere, did you do rear PDC retrofit?
Also, what is the % of tint did you do? I like it and I was thinking to do similar and keep front windows clear.

Awesome shoot. The wagon is turning out great. I’m so glad I saw that you tried to use the lower part of the stock 330 airbox with the perf intake. I had a hole cut out in mine when someone tried to incorporate the dinan lower tube into it. I saw what you did and it worked out perfectly for me.
Btw, that second pic makes it look a bit like a clownshoe.

That is a pretty car! Beautiful exterior color. Beautiful interior color, too. Great pictures against the wooded background.

the tint is some old crappy tint from the previous owner, I need to get it removed and replaced with better tint that isn't bubbling.
The car already had PDC from the factory so I just made sure to get the PDC mtech 2 touring bumper. But if it didn't I would have retrofit it anyways lol
I'm already in the process of retrofitting the rain sensor... I also plan on removing the driver and passenger complete door wiring harness installing a late model door wiring harness from a zhp so that I can actually run ribbon cable mirrors..and I'm going to replace the gm5 module with the Newer lin bus gm5 module from the zhps as well.

Dude... I'd do anything to get RID of this stupid ribbon motor setup. These things are way too damn fragile and WAY too expensive to replace...

Find an older sedan e46 at the junk yard and get the complete left and right side door harness and mirror module in the doors and a pair of older 12 pin mirrors. Also get the gm5 module. (Our cars have Lin Bus High gm5 modules and you want the older non Lin Bus module). Install everything, code the gm5 module with your vin number and defaults for ev53 chassis and then it should work.

I adore this car (see: I want this car). It looks so damned good.

But then the question is, what features are lost by going to an older GM...
I have some coding features I'm quite fond of that I don't think the older cars have.

What coding features are you quite fond of that you a worried you would lose?
Non Lin Bus sedan still has the comfort features with the keyfob and the windows, alarm etc
You would lose power fold option unless you installed E46 m3 mirror modules on both sides and the gm5 detected then on the kbus system then power fold comes back as an option at long as the vo for power fold is set in the kmb and lsz
