Now that I have my headlights sorted out, I'd like to replace the fog light bulbs to match the xenon color. From research, I've seen Hoen xenonmatch bulbs mentioned frequently. Are those the best bet? Better options?

Just get one that's the same temp as your Xenon bulb. That should do the trick, but only if your fogs are HID. If they're not HID then it's a moot point as it won't quite match no matter what you do.
Factory Xenon bulbs are 4300k in temperature.
Get the same bulbs as your headlights if you want a near perfect match. May be some subtle difference because of the ballast.
In the market for an E90 M3
I don't have HID fogs and wasn't planning on that upgrade. My last ZHP had bulbs that pretty closely matched the factory HID temperature. I think they were Hoens, but came with the car.
Bumpin and oldie. So 4300 is close to the color of our Xenon low beams? I"m not sure what's in my car by I need new HID bulbs. I was leaning towards 5k or even 6k, but I don't want to be too blue...
Actually 5000k is whitest output but with a very slight yellow, not blue. 6000k is the white with a slight tinge of blue. Just wanted to post this correction. if you have to have the absolute perfect match between fogs and your Xenons, then it is easiest to get the fog HID kit with matching 9006/D2S bulbs.
Shawn, 5000k will provide the whitest look without any tinge of blue if that's what you're going for
Here are a few charts for reference...
Thanks Charlie. I wish I knew what the PO had installed as I like the color. DDM bulbs the best route? (Even with @$12 s/h?)
