    My Mystic Adventure...

All the work I have been putting into my ZHP since October of last year to now have been about getting my BMW ready for it's long-distance road trip to Florida and back a few weeks from now. In all that time I have done the following work:

    - complete cooling system overhaul (all associated OEM hoses and hard pipes for the cooling system, radiator, expansion tank, Stewart water pump, OEM thermostat and sensors)
    - engine coolant sensor replacement
    - oil temperature sensor replacement
    - oil pressure sensor replacement
    - coolant level sensor replacement
    - coolant temperature sensor replacement
    - external ambient temperature sensor replacement
    - external ambient temperature plug and associated wiring repaired/replaced
    - complete SAP system overhaul
    - intake system overhaul
    - reconditioning my fuel injectors
    - new MAF sensors
    - new OEM BMW intake boots (upper and lower)
    - new Bilstein PSS-10 coilovers and Ground Control Camber kit
    - fresh fluids (cooling, engine, transmission, rear diff, and brake)
    - installed a G.A.S. CCV replacement kit
    - new o-rings (fuel injectors, and oil dip stick)
    - new vaccum lines
    - A/C pulley replacement
    - G.A.S. DISA rebuild kit
    - G.A.S. coolant 1.2 bar cap
    - Aluminum light weight water pump pulley
    - aluminum water pump end cap
    - VANOS oil feed line and banjo bolts replaced
    - all gaskets replaced (oil filter housing, valve cover, throttle body, DISA, intake manifold)
    - inlet fuel hose replaced
    - GUIBO and center line bearing replaced
    - e-brake handle replaced
    - spark plugs and ignition coils replaced
    - front tie rod assemblies (inner and outer & left and right) replaced
    - replaced tie rod boots (left and right)
    - BBS CH wheels balanced and Michelin Pilot Sport AS4 tires (235/35 19F / 255/30 19R) and integrated internal TPMS sensors
    - titanium wheel stud retrofit w/ open ended lug nuts
    - CDV delete
    - Garmin dash cam install
    - OEM M3 front strut bar installed

as you can see . . . this is a good list of what work has been done in the past 8 months to my ZHP. Here is a list of work I would like to complete in the 2023 car season before winter:

    - install OEM M3 side mirrors (IN PROGRESS)
    - install AutoSolutions SSK
    - install my UUC Corsa TSE3 exhaust
    - install upgraded rear subwoofers
    - new Michelin Pilot Sport AS4 front tires for my spare front Style 135 wheels
    - install my rear Wilwood BBKs
    - flush my brake fluid

If I can get the above items completed then I will be satisfied with the work I have put into my ZHP in the past year.

What rear sub woofers did you decide to go with?

The H&K subs hit pretty good with the bavsound kit

I went with these speakers for my new subs based on Gary's recommendation.

I just never got around to finishing them. I have a few projects that need finishing. Sort of like tying off loose ends kinda thing . . .

Dash cam ordered this morning . . .

I decided to integrate one into my ZHP after all the work I have put into her

I also ordered a replacement driver's airbag wiring harness to replace the one on my steering wheel. I am currently getting an SRS fault; Stage 1 and 2 resistance too high. From my research replacing this wiring harness corrects this fault so since it isn't too expensive to source I went ahead and ordered one to replace and see if this clears my fault. If so, then I will be ordering another one to replace in my M3 as well.

This week I will be reinstalling my OEM M3 front strut bar and finishing my OEM M3 side mirror base plate modifications so I can begin painting the baseplates black and mirror housings Mystic Blue and then 2k clear coat them so I can complete this much anticipated retrofit to my ride and get this retrofit checked off my list of things I want to do.

EDIT: The SRS Fault is caused by a clock spring that needs replacement. I will be sourcing this part after I return from my upcoming long-distance road trip.

Which one did you choose Charly?
I am thinking to buy a second one to add on my wife sedan.
That list if work is big and nice!

I got the Garmin Mini 2 dash cam because of it's small size. I can put it by my rear view mirror and because of it's small size it is much more discreet and I will most likely not be asked to take it off when going on a military base.

It records 1080p and voice and covers the front 140 degrees of the car. It has parking monitoring if plugged into a constant voltage source and also has voice control.

    Plenty of features for me

on another note I reinstalled my OEM M3 strut bar. This is something I wanted to do after installing my coilovers so it's done

    My Mystic Adventure...

dash cam installed and road tested. It serves my purpose

I have this mounted such that I have excellent road coverage out front yet my dash cam is not distracting as it is completely covered by my autodim mirror

This is how big my dash cam is compared to my key fob

    Highway driving is captured well

Even when police comes up on you

records very well. It also records voice with video and accepts voice commands.

for power, I just routed the 15' USB power cord across the headliner to the Driver's A-pillar and under the dash over to the center console to where my USB Power Adapter was located in the lighter plug. Very easy to route and set up
