Excuse or enjoy the puns.. With most any type of purchase, tires or else, the driving factors still fall under REAL needs vs. wants or a combo of the two. With the current tires prices being a little inflated, I am targeting Apr/May timeframe. for both my coupe and sedan. For my sedan, I have had sets of Michelin PSS, PSS, Conti Ext Contact, then Michelin PS 4S. My current needs are for daily street driving, 80% low demand / 20% high demand. I plan focus more on needs vs. wants this time, and to switch to the PS A/S. My suspicion is that I will appreciate the extended life of the PS A/S's more that the possibility of exceeding their capability. Any time on a track will likely be in my coupe that I may opt for a dedicated set on 17" rims.
