    Help!

So I'm jacking up my car to do my transmission fluid and I have the left front side up with a jackstand. I go to raise up the front right and I hear a creak then two pops that sounded like they were under pressure. Anyone know what it was? I'm worried about continuing in case I damaged something.

Probably just your springs coming unsealed. When is the last time it was up?

btw the pops sounded similar to taking off an air hose under pressure. It's probably nothing I just wanted to make sure

nevermind false alarm. It was the jack stand shifting under the changing height. It's all good now. Just scared me a bit.

Chris, I'll actually leave this thread intact. Someone else may run into something like this. This will serve as a potential troubleshooting thread.

Your rear brakes will sometimes make this noise as well if the e-brake is engaged.
