What do you folks use for engine oil? I was going to use the Liqui Moly full synthetic, I'm sure I cant go wrong with that. However, I am still interested in your thoughts. Thanks!!

BMW recommends Castrol High Performance SAE 5W-30 synthetic oil.
I use Mobil 1 0-40 Sythentic oil. I trust Mobil 1.
EDIT: This Thread Here has a lot of useful information and can answer most of your oil questions.
I've used M1 0-40, Castrol 0-35 and BMW 5-35 (if I'm getting those weights right)
But I like the BMW oil the best.. and it has been the cheapest so far. Castrol takes a 2nd and M1 3rd. I didn't like the M1.

In my last car, I ran Mobil 1, 5W-30.. I like Mobil 1, but I too am glad to see this thread. I'd like to know what everyone thinks is best for the engine we all adore.
