yes, good job with the video! i'm going to order a set of these for "inventory." ;)
yeah, but the challenge expires on the 20th. ;)
damn. that is smart to give ample planning time. stress... ain't nobody got time for that!
it doesn't look bad. i've had 3 N52s but have only had to do the OFHG once - on our 2007 X3, and that was about 10 years ago. from what i remember, it was a lot easier than on the M54.
i have the PERFECT shot in mind for this challenge, but it's 9hrs away and i won't be there for another 3 weeks! bollocks.
all E9x cars have those braces. they are a real PITA, indeed - the worst part being that the other end is bolted at the firewall, under the massive cowl, so you need to remove the cabin filter,...
aww, man - that's sweet. very cool!
august 2025... that will be my wife's and my 20th anniversary. holy crap. why are you waiting so long? (just curious.)
really odd about the headliner, because.... they had the C-pillar covers out? (they're both not clipped in fully.). and, they went to the effort of a respray.... why not fix the headliner (and 3rd...
william, i am sorry for your loss. 95 is a good run... i am glad you and your family were there to be with him.
that's amazing. like, seriously amazing - i'm super happy for you! when are...
william, sorry to hear about your grandfather. i'm assuming since you're home for 30 hours, you travelled a distance, and the prognosis isn't good. sorry to hear that.
lots of ailing old folks...
oh right, fredo, you're both in austin - nice! well, this will get sorted out then. :)
WIN! thanks wstr75! your turn to pick a challenge. :)
thanks! that one is soooo nice. it's really clean, and will be a great car to enjoy and preserve in an OEM+ type of fashion. it does have some little issues to deal with (like, the VCG/OFHG/OPG...
fredo - i assume both rear camber adjustment bolts are moving freely? if so... i would look at your RR lower camber arm to see if it's bent or not. those are pretty flimsy, and designed to be...
stunning... i love alpine white. BaT will do you well.
thanks fredo! it feels good to be "back." especially now with my son getting interested.
holy cow, i think i nearly had a tear-up reading this.... that really means a lot to me, mark. thanks for sharing that! we're all in this thing together, so i am glad that it helped you to not go...
$30,850! i was close. ;)
yep, they are visible to me.
and...this is incredible, mark! amazing. i've actually been looking for a good plastic adhesive - i will check out the LORD Fusor stuff you mentioned, as i have to...
oh nice! good to see they provide their own flashing tool. i like that.
you and me both, man! :)
$32K. it's about as close to a "new ZHP" as you can buy in 2024.
i figured i would update this thread as well. i bought the Touring back from sergey (thanks man!) last october, and it has unfortunately been sitting since then as i've been swamped with extended...
well, jeff didn't chime in, but he's a great guy! and...the torch has been passed. i am the new steward of this fine machine. many thanks to chet as well for his detailed info and care of this...
