So I routed the backup camera's RCA cable through the car today.
Hardest part by far was the rubber loom that attaches from the trunk lid to the car...
(I used a wire hanger, engine oil and patience...)

I ran the cable down the passenger side of the car, which just so happens to be where the large power cable coming from the battery is.

I either ruined the cable when jamming it through the rubber loom, or there's interference from the power cable.

Figured out tonight that the flickering only happens when my headlights are on...
No clue where to begin with that repair....

I believe I fried the reverse circuit when the positive and negative wires tapped together on the reverse camera.

Shawn - sure we can totally do it once I install Charlie's as well. This way I'll know exactly what to get for your car as well.

I recently purchased and received the D5150U and got it installed, my unit has the random input upon start up. Apparently this unit did Not come with the New Can Bus box as you stated in the previous email below. This was a concern and why I asked if it would at least have the new updated Cab Bus box beings I waited 3 weeks for the unit to come back into stock as well as two of my friends. Their eBay user names are macdctr and djboostd. We belong to a large BMW forum that has thousands of members. Members are watching our feedback with this unit. Please let me know why are units were not shipped with the new Can Bus boxes.
