The other alternative is a coil-over system. Something along the lines of Bilstein PSS or in that price range.

Just the cost of the Koni shocks is very appealing.

    no FSDs?

order from race consulting agency, their pricing is the best.

i do like the PSS, however be aware that the front height adjustment range is very limited (this is a good thing). at max height it's a bit low for me, i would like it to go higher. personally i will likely be going towards a linear spring conversion on my PSS, and that should allow me to go a little higher in the front, too.

you can't beat them for the money though - definitely the best damping, performance, and build quality (and warranty - lifetime!) in that price range.

Nah,I've read a lot about the FSDs and I think I want something a little more predictable. I know they're magical and all, but the Yellow is going to be more in-line with my plans for the car.

And yes, definitely going with RCA. Yellows with H&R sport springs is only like $80 more than ECS for just the shocks. Plus the $50 Koni rebate

Koni Yellows and H&R sport springs is what is on the wife's zhp and its a great combo. This is what I will probably end up with for my car since everything else is such a huge price increase.

Why do you plan on going with h&r sport springs? I mean in what ways is it better/worse than stock springs? Just curious...

The sport springs lower the car a bit and the ride is similar to the stock spring.
The Konis and the sport springs is what I have on my car. It's too bad I didn't have it on the ground when you visited last summer

I just order Konis for $530 from Race Consulting Agency. This is lower than their web site listed price. Call them directly and ask for Adam Krawczuk at (888) 981-7221, extension 6.

I originally thought of going with stock. Intended to purchase from someone who had used set with 10k miles, but I decided i wanted an upgrade and new. Lots of happy mafia members on Koni made me feel it as the best choice. As well as the ability to adjust for comfort or firm will come in handy for my street and autocross driving.

I didn't know about the rebate. $50. That's awesome. Every bit helps.

$480 shipped with the rebate is a great price for a full set of Koni shocks. Time to place an order then.
