Just wanted to note, Justin let me drive his Porsche this past weekend. Hands down the scariest car I have ever driven.

In the ZHP, I have torque and power sub 2k rpms. In the Porsche you don't have any power, until a few revs later and all of a sudden your bouncing off the limiter and your head is against the seat. It didn't help driving at night through the dark windy roads, but I still had a blast. Thanks Justin.

Glad you enjoyed it, Rob! Next time you're in the area and we have a weekend, we can hit the back roads in the day light. Hopefully the engine and new wheels will be finished by then!

As for me, my door cards arrived.

And I have a guy interested in my spare cylinder head and cam tower. So hopefully my pockets will be $250 heavier.

Next time I'm on the East coast I'll expect a ride. It looks like we're going to have to start a list, haha.

Hoping to make it out for the reunion next year, so rides will be given

Today's project is to strip the doors of the current leather and padding and figure out how I want to mount my handles and door pulls. Should be buying the covering material on Sunday. Still undecided if I want to do vinyl or suede...

    I vote suede!

Car sounds like she's moving along. I'm excited to see it too!

Got a quote for my door handles and pulls...$205 dollars. So recovering and mounting the supplies should probably run me around $250 all together. Enough suede material for the rear cards and probably the whole car.

I have special plans to find a non-airbag dash and add all the switches to the dash from the center console and do a center console delete. I will have a radio bracket relocation or *gasp* a radio delete. Not sure yet. I have a nice system, but its not stock and looks too modern for the car.
