    Headlight Options

Alright, guys. I'm a noob when it comes to headlight stuff.

My ZHP unfortunately did not come with the Xenon headlights.

I purchased some bulbs from Khoalty and have been very pleased with how they look, but....being a BMW mod junky, I want the OEM Xenon headlights.

    Now here's my question -

Do I need to be on the look out for just the Xenon projectors? I don't need the whole headlight assembly do I? I'm just looking for the most cost efficient way to get the Xenons. I'd prefer to stay OEM.

    Thanks!

I would start looking at ebay if you are looking for a cost effective way and want to stay OEM. Unfortunately, you will pay $$$ to stay OEM. SNA77 posted in lighting section, here's the link - go through it. http://www.zhpmafia.com/forums/showthread.php?5619-Another-option-for-bi-xenons-Magneti-Marelli-OEM-replacements

It will cost you about $1k but also comes with a 2 year warranty on the headlights. Something to think about.

Are you super hung up on staying OEM? I think its going to cost you a lot of money and give you sub-par output. I'd recommend pursuing an FX-R retrofit into whatever housing you feel like trying it on.

Garbage. Not OEM. Send a PM to jack.chris328 on e46fanatics. I just bought some lights from him. He has a huge stock of xenon and bi-xenon lights. You'll have to do some modding to get them to work right and you'll have to code your LCM to accept the Xenon and not give you a B.O.W.

    Or you can do this:

I did the same on my ZHP which originally came with Halogens...
